We’re happy to share some exciting news with you as we embark on a journey to enhance your Guidewire Cloud development experience. In May 2024, we will be introducing a new and improved launch experience for Guidewire Cloud that focuses on efficiency, intuitive navigation, and personalization.
This new experience will merge and combine Guidewire Cloud Home and Guidewire Cloud Console into a single, unified, and enhanced experience for all developers, business analysts, devops, tech leads, and system administrators.
1. Enhanced efficiency from a role-based launchpad
Prepare to meet a landing page/dashboard tailored specifically for you, designed to bring you the most important information at a glance, and act on it immediately. Our goal is to boost your productivity by surfacing errors, changes, new features, and guides to help you get your work done as efficiently as possible.
For example, imagine that you deployed PolicyCenter to a dev environment, but the deployment caused the app to crash. Now you will be able to see this situation immediately, deep link into logs for that environment, and once you have a new build ready, you can deploy directly from where you discovered the issue.
2. Intuitive navigation with revamped information architecture
We’ve listened to your feedback, and as a result, we are reorganizing how our applications are grouped. The new Information Architecture is designed to help you easily find what you need. We believe this change will significantly enhance your overall user experience.
3. A single home experience for all Guidewire Cloud users
Over the next year, we’re working towards merging Guidewire Cloud Console and Guidewire Cloud Home into a unified home experience for all our cloud users. Fear not – while we transition various Cloud Console features, no functionality will be lost; it will simply be accessible from a different location. We are committed to making this transition as seamless as possible.
Preparing for the change
To assist you in acclimating to the new Guidewire Home experience, we’ll provide comprehensive knowledge materials and product tours. These materials will be shared via in-app messaging, direct emails from your Customer Success Manager, Guidewire Documentation, and future blog posts on this site. These resources will help you get comfortable with the new experience before you make the switch, and ensure that you are ready to make the most out of Guidewire Cloud Platform.
