What technology does DevConnect utilize?

DevConnect leverages standard technologies that are broadly adopted in order to minimize the learning curve for developers. Developers writing apps with DevConnect should have a solid background in Java, JavaScript, and RESTful APIs.

Who can build add-ons using DevConnect?

What versions of ClaimCenter are compatible with DevConnect?

The Claim Servicing and Claim Scoring SDKs are supported on ClaimCenter V8, V9, and V10 releases that are under standard support. The Claims Subrogation SDK is supported on ClaimCenter V10 releases that are under standard support.

Should I get trained or certified on ClaimCenter before developing add-ons with DevConnect?

It is not required to have training or certification on ClaimCenter to develop add-ons with DevConnect. However, having experience with ClaimCenter is useful. To learn more, view the catalog of ClaimCenter courses offered through Guidewire Education.

Are the DevConnect add-ons compatible with ClaimCenter Cloud?

Yes, DevConnect add-ons are supported on ClaimCenter Cloud.
